Christchurch has a reputation as a technology innovation hub. The city's closely connected tech sector is known for developing innovative products and services for global niche markets. They develop solutions for multi-national organisations such as Disney, Ford and Nike.

But we are also very humble about sharing the great work we are doing.

Event submissions are now open for Techweek'18

Be part of a nationwide festival running from 19-27 May 2018 and join the movement amplifying New Zealand innovation that's good for the world. 

The Techweek platform was created for you, and now's your chance to make the most of the attention it brings to New Zealand’s innovation and technology ecosystems by running, supporting or exhibiting at events during the week.

Techweek events vary from major conferences to small meetups on niche topics, hackathons, workshops and networking events. You’re only limited by your own imagination!

Entries are now open for the 2018 NZ Hi-Tech Awards

Entries are now open for the 2018 NZ Hi-Tech Awards which celebrate New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies and highest achieving individuals.

Originally launched in 1994 as the VSI Electronics Excellence Awards, they have since evolved into a platform for recognising the best all of our technology industries: ICT, electronics, software, biotechnology, creative, telecommunications and digital media.

Companies entering the Hi-Tech Awards gain recognition, publicity, networking opportunities, exposure to investors and the opportunity to refine their value proposition.

Entries are given the opportunity to take part in three outstanding events in 2018; The Entrants Cocktail Events on Wednesday 28 March, The Gala Awards Dinner on Friday 25 May and the exclusive NZ Hi-Tech Awards Alumni Event on Thursday 24 May.
